You are missing a lot if you don't have these installed. (For almost every browser)

Google’s Chrome and Apple’s Safari are the most popular browsers all around the world. One of the biggest advantages of using them is their huge collection of extensions which take their powers to next level.

Here is a small list of extensions that everyone should have on their computers. They are in no order.

These extensions will also work on browsers that are based on Chromium (open source version of chrome) like Microsoft’s Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, etc. Some of these are also available on firefox so I will mention them. I don't have any Mac device so I cannot tell if those are available on Safari or not. But I can promise you that you will find similar ones on Safari.

Google Dictionary

Gone are those days when you had to search the internet for word meanings. If you are not using this extension then you are wasting a lot of your time and energy. Using this extension all you have to do is highlight the word and click on the extension’s icon. It will instantly show you meaning from google.

You can also set shortcuts if you don't want to use the mouse to click on the icon.

Wikiwand

Let's face it, We all have used Wikipedia but it's very old-fashioned and looks boring. Wikiwand is the solution here. It makes Wikipedia pages look modern and organizes them beautifully in a sidebar. We can also hit CTRL twice to search anything on Wikipedia. It's very useful and everyone should use it.

Just install it in the browser and everything else will be automatic, no setup required.

OneTab

There are many instances when a lot of tabs are open and we want to use them later or need to work on something else. OneTab is the solution here. Just click on the icon and it will close all tabs and save them. This will save a lot of memory and processing power of your computer and also removes all the clutter from the tab-bar.

You can bookmark all these tabs at once but this is a quicker process than doing that.

You can also restore all tabs at once or choose to delete or share them.

Grammarly

It's one of the most popular extensions in the world. There is no reason for not using it (except for privacy concerns). Its free version corrects spellings, punctuations, and some basic grammar mistakes. The paid version is a lot better.

It automatically highlights spelling and grammar mistakes.

Mercury Reader

There are websites all over the internet that are filled with ads and all sorts of stuff that you don't want to see. All that clutter makes it difficult to focus on the main article itself. Mercury reader solves this problem by clearing away all the clutter leaving only text and images for a clean and consistent reading view on every site. You can also change fonts, text size and enable dark mode. You also have the ability to send the website to your kindle.

Everything happens with just 1 click

Thanks for reading. You can suggest your favorite extensions in the comments.
